One of the things I love most about horse racing is the relationship between the horse and the jockey—the trust, respect, and something else I can't put my finger on...
I’m drawn to these quieter moments behind the scenes.
I'm also fascinated by racing silks. The bold colors and luminous sheen of the fabric is a welcomed challenge.
Stylistically, this painting represents a newer direction in my work. While my paintings are often rooted in realism, I’ve been exploring more eclectic and contemporary compositions that feel playful, bold, and unexpected.
