Born and raised in Bardstown, KY, the bourbon capital of the world, and currently residing in Lexington, KY, the horse capital of the world, Aimee chooses to focus her watercolor subjects on what else? Bourbon and horses.

Aimee Griffith began creating art in 2017. As the official artist of the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks, Aimee's work has captured the essence and spirit of these iconic horse racing events.
Specializing in watercolor, Aimee is drawn to the medium's unique qualities of transparency and luminosity. She skillfully utilizes the delicate nature of watercolors to bring her subjects to life, infusing them with a sense of light and vibrancy.
Based in Lexington, Aimee finds inspiration in the picturesque surroundings of her home studio. Surrounded by the beauty of Kentucky's rolling hills and equestrian culture, she translates her love for the region with each brushstroke.

In addition to her artistic pursuits, Aimee is a dedicated mother of three children ages 7, 9 and 12 and married to Mark - her number one supporter and husband of 18 years.
Aimee focuses on creating new paintings and high quality print reproductions at reasonable prices.
