This is a professional quality giclee print of original watercolor painting of a thoroughbred horse stretching at the final stretch of the Kentucky Derby at the Churchill Downs racetrack in Louisville, KY. The race is often called "The Run for the Roses" on account of the blanket of roses draped over the winner and also the first leg in the Triple Crown.
